This system is designed to both aid in the prevention of injury and strengthening the back and shoulders. Believe it or not, their health is closely related. These movements have been successfully used by thousands and approved by several of my clients who are noted orthopedic, spinal and neural surgeons.

The strength and the mobility of the upper, middle and lower back are interrelated to the health of the shoulders. Creating stability and mobility of the C-spine, T-spine, lumbar region and the glenohumeral joint are essential to healthy movement and overall strength.

The whole premise of this program is based around developing the Cylinder of Power by strengthening the deepest muscles of the core and posterior chain; the multifidus, erector spinae and the transverse abdominis. This is accomplished by tightening the gut (contraction of the abdominals and gluteus maximus), engaging the lats (latissimus dorsi), maintaining a neutral spine and squeezing the rhomboids (scapular retraction).
